Target Intraocular Pressure Calculator

The Target IOP Calculator provides a portable, “always at your fingertips” possibility to calculate the “target intraocular pressure” in glaucoma patients.

Suitable for all eye care professionals.

The calculation performed is based on formula published in 1997 by
Dr Henry D. Jampel* with minor modification.

The user fills the value of initial (pre-treatment) pressure, and (if needed) also some basic facts describing most important patient’s details. This allows to calculate the value of pressure which may be set as a target for pressure lowering medication/treatment.
Obviously it’s still the “doctor’s role” to accept the result and make the treatment decisions - the calculator just helps with simple math!
